Beijing shopkeepers are celebrating capitalism on the 60th anniversary of the People’s Republic by selling merchandise with a graphic illustrating President Obama in Chairman Mao’s uniform. With the label, “Oba Mao”, we have what may be the ultimate synthesis of capitalism and communism in China. The craziness is only going to build, considering Obama’s upcoming visit to China in mid-November. I think the Tea Baggers and the Chairman would agree on the sheer horror of this combination.
